SAFER BRISTOL APPOINTS BRANDON HILL COMMUNICATIONS
Brandon Hill Communications has been appointed to develop and implement a communications strategy tackling crime, disorder and drug misuse in Bristol.
The programme has been commissioned by the Safer Bristol Partnership, which brings together a diverse range of partners from the Police, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services to Primary Care Trusts, drug service providers, the local authority and community groups.
Awarded following a comprehensive agency review, including presentations by three short listed, involves analysing the current position, developing objectives, drafting a marketing communications strategy and then implementing this.
Alison Comley, Head of Community Safety & Drug Strategy, said: “An effective, coordinated communications strategy is critical to the shared task of tackling crime, disorder and drug misuse.
“In producing proposals for tackling this task Brandon Hill demonstrated excellent stakeholder management skills and an outstanding knowledge of Bristol and the surrounding region.”
Brandon Hill director, Ian Muir said: “In developing a communications strategy for Safer Bristol we will ensure that we understand the perspective and motivation of key partners and stakeholders. We will then develop a clear, accessible communications strategy that all partners can buy into.”
