Brandon Hill to Manage Visit by Skolkova Foundation to the UK

Brandon Hill Communications has been appointed by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) to deliver a high-profile roadshow marking the UK visit of the Russian-based Skolkovo Foundation.

Funded by the Russian government, the Skolkovo Foundation aims to modernise Russia’s otherwise commodity-based economy.  It focuses on five priority sectors including energy efficiency, nuclear technology, space & aerospace, ICT and Biomedical research. 

A delegation of 30 Senior Executives will visit the UK on 14 and 15 February 2012, following the Prime Minister’s visit to Russia in September 2011 when UK-Russia collaboration in high-tech sectors was top of the agenda. 

The roadshow will introduce relevant UK companies, research organisations, academic institutions and financial investors to the aims and objectives of the Skolkovo Foundation, aiming to generate and enable communications and collaboration between the UK and Russia. 

Brandon Hill will utilise its expertise in specialised event and international delegate management to support all aspects of this exciting senior level visit. 

This will include a conference attended by 200 people held at the Institute of Directors flagship Pall Mall offices in London, as well as site visits to the UK’s premier R&D centres.
